I do not want to sound too alarmist; but haven't you noticed that things are getting more dangerous by the news cycle? Thank heavens that there's also lots of goodness in the world. I would like to think of myself as belonging squarely in the optimist camp. But you have to admit that the lunacy, the lies and deceits are ubiquitous. So make sure you don't let yourself fall into the easy trap of believing everything you're told, even from so called experts or people of high standing. Our political and economic rulers all have their own agendas, and seldom do the interests of those in power dovetail with those of us the common folks.
